Our Story

Rooted in tradition. Made for today.

Flour & Foundry Mercantile Co. is an online mercantile built around the belief that the things we bring into our homes should be useful, well made, and worth keeping.

What began with Lilacs & Lemons, an award-winning bakery founded in 2019, has grown into something larger. Flour & Foundry represents the next chapter of our family business—bringing together fresh-milled baking mixes and old-fashioned pantry provisions with farmhouse home goods, vintage-inspired apparel, seasonal collections, and gifts.

Our baking collection carries forward the craftsmanship behind Lilacs & Lemons. Select mixes are made with freshly milled grains and thoughtfully chosen ingredients, giving home bakers a way to bring a little of our bakery into their own kitchens.

Beyond the bakehouse, Flour & Foundry is inspired by the old mercantile tradition: practical provisions, beautiful things for the home, seasonal goods, and pieces meant to be enjoyed for years rather than a season of trends.
